We want our Pre-Kindergarten children to grow as confident individuals, to take appropriate and challenging risks, to develop the skills and passions of lifelong learners, and to view the world with self-confidence and curiosity.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN
Early Childhood at Burgmann Anglican school provides a platform for young children to experience the joy of learning. Pre-Kindergarten is a high-quality education and extended care program. It offers an enhanced transition program for four-year-old children as they get ready to become Kindergarten students.
The Centres, on both Valley and Forde campuses, operate as long day care facilities and an extended care package is part of the program to assist parents and caregivers. The Pre-Kindergarten program operates using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). It aims to provide an educational experience that enables children to engage with and respond to the opportunities and challenges of a changing world while learning foundation skills in literacy and numeracy.
We believe our nurturing environment, coupled with a strong social skills program, will broaden and enrich the ethical and spiritual development of each child.
Why Early Childhood Education Matters
Quality early childhood education lays the essential foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing, providing structured opportunities for exploration, discovery and growth. Our Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to nurture every aspect of a child's development, fostering a love for learning, building foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, and cultivating a strong sense of social responsibility and emotional resilience.
Through a carefully curated blend of play-based learning and evidence-based instructional methods, we prioritise the holistic development of each child. Our dedicated team of experienced Early Childhood Teachers create a nurturing and stimulating environment, providing a safe and engaging space for children to learn and grow as they prepare to become Kindergarten students.
